General Services Administration Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract

An IDIQ contract by nature is all-inclusive and covers a wide range of services that may include architecture; engineering; historic building surveys; planning; feasibility studies; facility investigations and repairs; and other miscellaneous procurements. Among the types of projects that we have executed are: Federal courtrooms and chambers renovations; Façade repairs and replacement; Building annex additions; US Marshal Service security modifications; Facility renovations; Major systems replacements such as fire alarm and elevator refurbishments; Bridging documents for GSA design/build procurements; Feasibility studies for project viability or capital budget procurement; and Office renovations for GSA tenants.

Challenges

Our successful collaboration with GSA has relied upon several factors: Proper project management to ensure multiple task orders are properly staffed and monitored; consistency of staff to ensure projects are seamless from phase to phase; maintaining high quality services for varying sized work orders; ensuring interdisciplinary communication utilizing high security electronic management software; understanding and incorporating properly complex agency requirements; and patience with governmental process.
