Since IDEA’s founding in 1992, we have consistently emphasized listening, creativity, discernment, and versatility to realize client goals. IDEA excels at working with multi-layered organizations such as the University of Chicago, the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, the U.S. General Services Administration, the City of Chicago, and the Art Institute of Chicago. Our ongoing relationships with these clients illustrate our capacity for inclusive, participative, and responsive design. Our experience is strong in sensitive contexts, ranging from feasibility studies to renovations, interior remodeling, and new construction in diverse campus environments.
