Sarah Leahy

Architect

Sarah joined IDEA in 2025 and has experience with a variety of project types including higher education, multifamily residential, and healthcare. One of the most rewarding projects she has worked on was an addition for a middle school on the west side of Chicago.  The addition not only brought maker space, a multi-purpose room, and new classrooms, but it provided the extra space to allow girls to attend the previously all-boys school.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, printmaking, traveling with her husband, and going on walks with her yorkie-chihuahua.
